Grandaddy - “The Town where I’m Livin Now”
(Official Music Video)

July 11, 2023
Created for the 20th anniversary rerelease of Grandaddy’s revered album Sumday. A documentary-style retrospective constructed as a sentimental road trip down memory lane and ode to California’s Central Valley.

“Revisiting this material and reflecting on those times has been a double-edged sword. Bittersweet is an apt word, I suppose. Twenty years after the fact, I’m just grateful to be alive and kicking.” - Jason Lytle, Grandaddy

My Last   Five     Years

A zine of photographs taken from 2020 to 2025 serving as both a personal chronicle and an exercise in memory retrieval and associations.

50 photographs shot with a range of equipment and film stocks were attempted to be placed in order chronologically by memory. The process and result questions how images assist or distort memories, and examines the inclination to impose meaning or narratives onto them.
